You can join by filling out the Associate form right here, or at any of our events or by downloading the form here and sending it fas.iowa@gmail.com. When using the PDF form the associate fee can be paid via our Donate button. Please include a note to indicate this is your associate fee.

WE'RE SEARCHING FOR VOLUNTEERS AND SPONSORSHIPS, PLEASE JOIN US!
FAS has several ways in which you can contribute to our vision. We are always looking for volunteers and support through either annual donations of time and/or money as well as helping with various fundraising activities. We cherish the help and support that we receive and we would like to say thank you by giving recognition at our programs, on our website, in newsletters and news releases.
Those wishing to contribute or offer sponsorship you may contact us about the following events or other opportunities.
Valentine Dinner Dance – This features a celebration to bring friends and their loved ones to a night of dining and dancing. Attendees also have the opportunity to be chosen as the “Couple of the Year” or “Sweetheart of the Year”. This event is held annually on the second Saturday of February.
Filipino Fiesta – This is a Philippine traditional celebration that occurs annually and is known as “fiesta” in which we showcase cultural foods, dance, and music. This is an annual event but the date and times vary from year to year.
Pig Roast/Picnic – This traditional celebration involves the roasting of a whole pig along with attendees furnishing a covered dish to share. This event also offers games, raffles, and other activities. This annual event is held the last Saturday in July.
Honoring the Veterans – This is our way of expressing our gratitude to our Veterans for their service to our country. We offer them and their families a free meal and live entertainment. This event also serves as an annual potluck for friends and associates.
Annual Christmas Celebration – This annual celebration is a chance for community children of all ages to receive gifts while also having their pictures taken with Santa Claus. Christmas celebration also brings the community together so that friends can reminisce with old friends they have not seen in a while also meeting new ones. This event is held the third weekend in December.
The benefits of sponsorship – We recognize our sponsors at each event. Additionally, sponsors are featured in our printed programs as well as all forms of advertising. We look forward to your continued support!
